usei dois parametros, um com 30, isto é, $ dmesg | tail -n 30 logo após conectar o dispositivo mp4, não reconheceu o dispositivo.
esse é o resultado da saida:
[anderson@localhost ~]$ dmesg | tail -n 30 ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LAZA] enabled at IRQ 21 HDA Intel 0000:00:10.1: PCI INT B -> Link[LAZA] -> GSI 21 (level, high) -> IRQ 21 HDA Intel 0000:00:10.1: setting latency timer to 64 NET: Registered protocol family 10 lo: Disabled Privacy Extensions NET: Registered protocol family 17 martian source 255.255.255.255 from 192.168.0.1, on dev eth1 ll header: ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:00:1b:11:9d:8a:4a:08:00 usbcore: registered new interface driver usblp ip_tables: (C) 2000-2006 Netfilter Core Team Netfilter messages via NETLINK v0.30. depois usei o parametro $ dmesg | tail -n 150 da mesma forma não notei o dispositivo.
esse é o resultado da outra saida:

um dado interessante é que este mesmo dispositivo é reconhecido de primeira em minha outra maquina, com o mesmo MDV 2010.
bom, continuo tentando, quaisquer ajuda sempre serão bem vinda.......
